What's Included

Drop in the spec book. Buildend does the sorting.

Automated indexing

Upload the spec book and Buildend splits it by division and section. No manual splitting and renaming.

Linked RFIs & submittals

Each RFI and submittal stays tied to the spec section behind it, so reviewers see the requirement in context.

Division & section organization

Browse by CSI division and section, the way your team already thinks about the spec book.

Revision control

Track spec updates and keep everyone on the current version, so nothing gets bought or installed off an old requirement.

Submittal drafts from specs

Buildend reads each section of the spec book and drafts the submittals it requires, ready for your submittal log.

Mobile access

Review specs from a phone or tablet in the office, the trailer, or on site.

AI-Assisted

Upload the spec book, and Buildend reads it, sorts it by section, and pulls out the submittal requirements for you.

Why It Matters

Fewer missed requirements.

Nothing gets missed

Every submittal and RFI ties back to the spec section it relates to — gaps are easy to spot.

Reviews with context

RFIs and submittals point to the spec section they're about, so reviewers see the requirement behind each one.

Answers at the point of work

Supers pull up the spec on a phone or tablet instead of calling the office to find it.
